19th Century Huron Bear Claw Necklace

This is a real, huron bear claw necklace from the 19th century composed of Huron trade beads, french trade beads, black bear claws, and elk incisors. This necklace is NOT from the Southwest and would have originated in upstate New York or Canada during the fur trade.

Although this doesn’t come from a Southwest based tribe, bear claw necklaces like this are extremely rare and would serve as a great center piece in a museum or personal collection.
