Clay Lockett was one of Tucson’s earliest Indian traders and Don Perceval was an amazing artist, collector, and teacher. Perceval was heavily inspired by Maynard Dixon (his mentor) and would later own Dixon’s home following his passing. “A Navajo Sketchbook” was a joint collaboration between two amazing men that spent a lot of time promoting native art and the history of the Southwest.
